Hypersonic Weapons Summit 2020

Abstract

Introduction and Background: 75 years of hypersonic flight progress hampered by: Cancellation of major programs; Significant "gotchas" leading to near misses and accidents; Cyclical nature of funding (10-12 year period). These issues make consistent, long-term progress in hypersonics challenging (facilities, people, knowledge).
