Camp Monitor: Most Construction Appears to Have Met Contract Requirements, but It Is Unclear if Facility Is Being Used as Intended

Abstract

This report discusses the results of SIGARs inspection of the Afghan National Armys Camp Monitor, located in Jawzjan province, in northern Afghanistan. A draft of this report recommended that the Commander, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A), direct the Commanding General, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A), to determine and report on the status of U.S. funds provided to the Afghan Ministry of Defenses Construction and Property Management Department for construction of the dining facility at Camp Monitor.
