Quantum Computing Algorithms For Decision Making Under Uncertainty

Abstract

The Quantum Computing Algorithms fundamental research project focuses on the challenge of design of quantum computing algorithms viable for near-term noisy quantum systems. An emphasis was set on design of algorithms that avoid taking unrealistic assumptions while offering theoretical rigor regarding the expected computational advantage. The activity addressed three major development initiatives, namely: algorithmic design, implementation and testing, quantum computing application scoping, and data porting.
