Ethics

Abstract

The hard right over the easy wrong has plagued all aspects of our services. No branch of the military has been unscathed by scandal due to ethical dilemmas. The Marines had Col Oliver North, the Air Force had Tailhook and the Army had the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. III Corp Artillery was alerted to deploy to Operation Iraq Freedom (OIF), commanders were told to secure their maintenance facilities do to the National Guard units will take over them. The logistical issue of repair parts that was not load for deployment had an impact on unit's equipment readiness when units arrived to support OIF.
