Mobilization with the 300th Area Support Group

Abstract

The 300th Area Support Group received a task from USARC to prepare unit for deployment to Iraq. Once notify of the task the unit started to get personnel crossed-leveled into the unit. I was one of many soldiers to be crossed-level with short notice. I had to prepare my family and my job for the short notice of being deployed. I was tasked to be the Chief Paralegal of the 300th ASG SJA Office. My mission was to get the office up and manage once in theater. The SJA office mission was provide legal services and guidance within our Area of Operation.
