Iraq's Election

Abstract

It's January 2005 and Iraq is preparing for its first free election. Cobra Company is preparing their sector for what the Insurgents promised to be the bloodiest day in Iraq's history. With ten months in country Cobra Company fought in two uprisings suppressing a Shiite Cleric's attempt to collapse the fledgling government. Now the task was to protect the masses as they go out to vote, a vote for freedom and democracy. One week away from the election Cobra Red makes a startling discovery.
