Agile Culture in the DoD

Abstract

Every organization has common things that are visible and reflect its basicassumptions, shared values, espoused values, and artifacts as shown in Figure 1.Together these form a view of the organizations culture [Schein 2009]. Artifactsare the most visible elements of a culture. They include the products of the groupsand everything an organization experiences, from the facilities and properties of thephysical environment to the groups language, reports and documents, posters andpresentation materials, myths, stories, and rituals.
