Three Variations on the V Model for System and Software Testing

Abstract

Lets start by talking about the V model, which is a well-understood way of representing the systems- and software-engineering lifecycle. How did this evolve out of the traditional waterfall model of software development? Well, the waterfall development cycle is a sequential series of activities. They basically just go in one direction. You know, from one activity to the next.
