Abstract

The goal of our work in software architectures is to understand the mechanics behind creating good architectures and make this knowledge public.I n collaboration with the Bosch Research and Technology Center in Pittsburgh (Bosch-RTC) we addressed the question: Is it possible to codify architectural knowledge in a tool that provides the right information at the right time to the architect?
