Abstract

Comprehensive report Assessment of Lifestyle Trackers for Total Exposure Health and Compare Smartwatches Tool including raw data generated during the study and survey template. Research project to identify and compare existing tools that could be utilized for total exposure health studies that track lifestyle behaviors. After narrowing the tracker search down to only smartwatchesover rings, smart clothing, and other itemsfor their ease of use, light weight, and lengthy feature list, ORAU conducted a literature review and market analysis to look at what existing devices would be suitable. By breaking down their extensive and varying capabilities across hundreds of different criteriafrom battery life to specific activity tracking measures to data transfer and securitya couple dozen specifications stood out as being particularly important and necessary that allow for further differentiation and identification of the best, most suitable wearable devices.
