Storage Batteries: Comparison of Capacities of WLH-29, WLH-45, and German Tudor Type 20-POR-820 Submarine Storage Cells

Abstract

This report is a correlation of data on the capacities of representative submarine main battery storage cells, the data having been obtained by the Naval Research Laboratory and by the Material Laboratory, New York Navy Yard. Analyses of the data show that storage cells of German manufacture are superior in military characteristics to recent American cells.
