Test of Weston Decibel Meters (Model 301)

Abstract

The following tests were made: (a) determination of damping factor, responsiveness and period; (b) determination of the maximum and minimum deflection of the pointer, in terms of decibels, for square topped telegraphically keyed signals, at various speeds within the range of normal hand keying, and high speed transmission.
