Interfaces, Models, and Monitoring for Resource-Aware Transformations that Augment the Lifecycle of System (IMMORTALS)

Abstract

The Interfaces, Models, and Monitoring for Resource-aware Transformations that Augment the Lifecycle of Systems (IMMoRTALS) project developed an ensemble of tools to (1) discover software metadata related to its dependence on the ecosystem, (2) process evolutionary pressure in the ecosystem, and (3) adapt the software so that it can function in the new environment and satisfy the changed requirements. The technologies were demonstrated in the context of eight challenge problems over the span of the three phases of the project, and evaluated by independent evaluation teams.
