Digital Engineering and DevSecOps

Abstract

The textbook definition that we are using for digital engineering is it is an integrated digital approach that uses authoritative sources of systems data and models as a continuum across disciplines to support lifecycle activities from concept through disposal. What that really means is you are developing models for everything, not just for your software, but for all of your components of your system of systems (SoS), hardware and software. You are storing those models in a singular repository of knowledge, both the models and the data that you use when you work with those models. Those models will be the single source that is used by all contractors and everyone working on the project.
