Electrical Performance of Multi-Electrode Mercury Vapor Rectifier Tube in Double Three Phase Circuit Type W-224

Abstract

The electric performance of the multi-anode mercury vapor rectifier tube operating in a three phase half wave double "Wye" circuit was observed. The ambient temperature surrounding the tube was varied, and the starting time found under full load applications. Voltage regulation with load was determined, and a value of percent ripple voltage given.
