A Procedure for Suppressing Multiple Scattering

Abstract

We introduce a method for removing multiple scattering components from radar signals by re-weighting the incident field. We first give the mathematical development of the technique. We then give several numerical examples. The examples demonstrate application of the technique to radar range profiles as well as synthetic aperture radar imagery.
