Abstract

What is Deepfake? Deep-learning plus fake. Deepfake originates from Reddit user in 2017 who claimed to have created the method. Can be audio, video, image, multimodal. Not the same as using Photoshop. Deepfakes are considered Disinformation. This talk is a primer on deepfakes.
