Test on Lubricating Oil Low Pressure Alarm Contact Makers Manufactured and Submitted by Viking Instruments, Inc

Abstract

The contact makers were set up at this Laboratory in air pressure systems and tested for conformance with specifications, outlines under "Results of Tests", paragraph 21. The operating characteristics of both samples were closely observed to note any changes resulting from endurance, shock and over-pressure tests. The pressure gauges used in connection with the tests were checked for accuracy prior to and at the conclusion of the tests. One of the samples, at the conclusion of the tests, was disassembled, as shown by Plate 3, and inspected for conformance with the specifications, relative to design, materials, and workmanship.
