Mechanisms of Oncogenesis in the Primary Liver Cell Cancer

Abstract

This is a final report for this award. During year 3 and over the course of the award significant progress was made and the study objectives were completed. At the completion of year 3 a final and third manuscript was submitted focusing on the effects of therapeutic targeting of the SRC family kinase LCK in CCA cells and patient derived xenografts. Over the course of the award three full manuscripts were completed with one under review and two others already published and reported in previous annual progress reports. The work supported by this award has served as the preliminary data for an RO1 application that will be submitted in the October 2021 cycle and LCK as a target as identified by this work was part of a successful DOD IDEA award for novel targeting approaches that is undergoing activation currently.
