Abstract

The FY14 Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) effort titled New Theoretical and Experimental Methods for Predicting Fundamental Mechanisms of Complex Chemical Processes, led by Prof Don Thompson at the University of Missouri, Columbia, was active from 1 July 2014 to 31 December 2019. The objective of the effort was to develop new approaches to truly predictive models for complex reacting systems, such as those found in the combustion of heavy hydrocarbon fuels.
