Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Testing

Abstract

The Second and final year of the grant focused on the design of a sub-scale HIFiRE-5 model, development of a new test section for the T6 Stalker Tunnel, and completion of the third and final test campaign for the project "Hypersonic Intake Testing" ( award FA9550-18-1-0022) Supervision of UK STTL supported DPhil students continued as did general development and management of the facilities (in support of Prof. McGilvray).
