Acid Heat of Aviation Gasolines

Abstract

In this report and in Appendix A is given the data obtained for the development of an "acid-heat" test using 90 percent sulfuric and 10 percent nitric acid. This test is recommended temporarily for aviation gasolines. The temperature rise recommended is 45 deg F as described in detail in Appendix C.
