Report of Test on Sirens, Types A and B

Abstract

The subject sirens were set up at this Laboratory and tested in strict accordance with the specifications, reference (b), after which they were carefully inspected for quality of workmanship and materials, and suitability of design. Tests were also made in open still air to determine the sound directional features incorporated in the sirens.
