Air Defense: Comparison of Upgraded F-4D and F-16A Aircraft

Abstract

In April 1985 the Northrop Corporation submitted an unsolicited proposal to provide the Air Folrce with F-20 aircraft. This prompted the General Dynamics Corporation to offer the F-16SC at substantially lowerprices than the F-16C models currently being purchased.
