Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers; Environmental Protection Agency: Definition of "Waters of the United States" - Recodification of Pre-Existing Rules

Abstract

GAO reviewed the Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers; Environmental Protection Agency's new rule on the Clean Water Act. GAO found that the final rule amends regulations implementing the Clean Water Act. According to the agencies, the 2015 Rule amended various regulatory provisions that set forth a definition of "waters of the United States."
