Characterization of Petroleum Thinners Available Commercially for Organic Protective Coatings

Abstract

Part of the problem, as authorized, should consist of a study of the most satisfactory and adaptable solvents and solvent combinations for use with the improved and recently developed resins rapidly becoming available. This report will discuss some of the methods for studying these solvents and solvent mixtures with reference to their quantitative constitution.
