Report on Test of Insanol, Composition no. 193

Abstract

The loss factor of the material was determined on the sample after they had been soaked in distilled water for 96 hours. The moisture absorption tests were made by breaking up a piece of this material into small pieces, the total weight of which was less than 50 grams. These specimens were dried in an oven at 120 C for 24 hours, and then immersed in distilled water. They were then boiled as required in reference {b). ill data for these tests were taken after 100 hours of immersion.
