Research of the Weldability of Iron Alloys (Comparison of V Notched and Tee Band Test Specimens)

Abstract

In order to be able to judge the full value of the V-notched bar test specimen described and proposed in Naval Research Laboratory Report No. M-1544 of 21 June 1939, it was felt that a comparison of the results or these specimens with some type of practical test was essential.
