Test of Preliminary Model XDU-1 Radio Direction Finder Equipment (Bendix Radio Corporation)

Abstract

The tests include measurement of efficiency over a temperature range of -30 to 50 deg C with a relative humidity in excess of 95%. Measurement of loss due to coupler unit. Observation of general field operation. Ability of equipment to withstand an acceleration of 8g. Ability of equipment to operate during vibration. Measurements of weights and dimensions.
