Test of Model XRAQ Radio Receiving Equipment
Abstract
The Model XRAQ Radio Receiver was given a general inspection for mechanical construction and wiring. To comply with reference (b) and (c) the electrical tests listed below were conducted: Sensitivity, selectivity, fidelity, input impedance, audio output impedance, automatic volume control time constant, automatic volume control characteristics, squelch circuit characteristics, audio harmonic distortion image signal rejection, intermediate-frequency signal rejection, main-oscillator frequency stability against changes in line voltage, ambient temperature and humidity, calibration crystal frequency check, gain and calibration shift with complete change of vacuum tubes, monitoring effectiveness, etc.
