Abstract

This document describes eye injury medical encounters, including deployment-associated medical encounters, of Active Duty (AD) Service members (SMs) in the Department of Defense (DOD) in calendar year (CY) 2020. The purpose of this annual surveillance report is to inform military commanders of their most common types of eye injuries and at-risk occupations.
