Abstract

States Bureau of Diplomatic Security (Diplomatic Security) is responsible for the protection of people, property, and information at States 275overseas posts2 and 152 domestic locations.3 In addition to guarding against threats from terrorism, Diplomatic Security must also counter arange of other threats, such as crime, espionage, visa and passport fraud, technological intrusions, political violence, and weapons of massdestruction.
