XB-70 Flight Test Program Chase Requirements

Abstract

Memorandum from AFFTC DCS for Materiel, Director of Operations to SCMDA. This headquarters conrurs with the findings of your studyconcerning a mix of chase aircraft to support the proposed XB-70 flight profiles. Equitable scheduling of currently assigned F-104, TB-58 and F-4C aircraft should satisfy a major portion of the requirement. Approval for use of the system test F-4Cs is granted on a noninterference basis with category testing.
