B-70 Flight Test Summary, Flight 1-7, 4 March 1965

Abstract

The 7th flight of XB-70 Flight 1-7 crewed by Mr. Al White and Lt Col Fitzhugh Fulton was completed on 4 Mar 65. Takeoff from Edwards runway 04 at a gross weight of approximately 485,000 pounds occurred at 1015 hours PST. The landing on runway 04 was at 1155 for a total flight time of one hour two minutes. Highest speed and altitude attained were Mach 1.85 and 50,000 feet.
