XB-70 ENGINEERING ANALYSIS OF ENGINEERING EFFORT TO BE PERFORMED CONTRACT AF33(600)-42058 FROM 31 JULY 1962 TO 30 JUNE 1964. The analysis contains the following: Statistical Estimate, Engineering Costs by Element, Direct Labor Costs by Manager, Technical Engineering, Mechanical and Propulsion Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chief Project Engineer's Office, Structural Engineering, Flight Test, Components Engineering. The 3 XB-70 air vehicle program, the aforementioned 24 items were reduced to the following: Flight Control, Doppler Radome Mockup, Impedance Model, .57 Scale Engine-Inlet Compartment, Antenna Range Models, Environmental, Propulsion Test Stand, Escape Capsule Test Units, Electronic Systems Checkout, Bomb/Navigation Radome, Fuel System.
