Hazardous Materials: DOD Should Eliminate DS2 From Its Inventory of Decontaminants

Abstract

This report responds to your request that we evaluate the Armys management and disposal of Decontamination Solution 2 (DS2). The report also provides information on the potential effects DS2 has on the readiness of weapon systems currently deployed and whether DS2 is being properly stored to prevent premature deterioration of containers.
