EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS: Department of Labor Should Assess Efforts to Coordinate Services Across Programs

Abstract

Federally funded employment and training (E and T) programs help job seekers enhance their job skills, identifyjob opportunities, and obtain employment. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) was enacted in 2014, in part, to improve coordination and integration among these programs.
