Abstract
It describes the importance of timing to North American power grid operations. It focuses specifically on timing provided by GPS, and covers four topics in relation to the power grid: Timing Dependency; Threats to Timing; Timing Threat Mitigation Measures; and Proposed Goals for Resilient Timing.
