The GAO Review, Spring 1972
Abstract
We in the General Accounting Office are constantly striving to expand our capacity to audit the affairs of Federal agencies. As independent auditors in the Federal Government, we are accountable to the Congress for examining the programs, operations, and financial transactions of all Federal agencies.
