Homeland Security Acquisitions: Opportunities Exist to Further Improve DHS's Oversight of Test and Evaluation Activities

Abstract

DHS invests several billion dollars in major acquisition programs each year to support its many missions. Conducting T and E of program capabilities is a critical aspect of DHSs acquisition process to ensure systems work as intended before being delivered to end users, such as Border Patrol agents.
