VETERANS' EMPLOYMENT: Need for Further Workshops Should Be Considered before Making Decisions on Their Future

Abstract

The federal government has long offered programs that assist veterans with finding employment. In 2013, the Dignified Burial and Other Veterans Benefits Improvement Act of 2012 was enacted, which required DOL to provide employment workshops to veterans and their spouses at locations other than military facilities through a2-year pilot that ended in January 2015.
