Army Scientific Advisory Panel Ad Hoc Group on Army's Propulsion Program

Abstract

To maintain the Army's capability in liquid propulsion technology, the ASAP Ad Hoc Group recommends the continuation of an active, adequate, and appropriate exploratory development program directly under Army's control (rather than Navy). Furthermore, the Army liquid program should contract a significant portion of its funding to support outside work while increasing its funding in advanced development.
