Night/Reduced Visibility Capability for Army Helicopters

Abstract

The Ad Hoc Committee was requested to identify equipment and systems necessary to provide helicopter pilots with the capability to fly under adverse visibility situations. This report consists of recommendations relating to current and future work in the topic area, discussion of the night flying problem and the technical approaches to it, and appendices.
