Depot Maintenance: Issues in Allocating Workload Between the Public and Private Sectors

Abstract

i am pleased to be here today to discuss several defense depot maintenance issues. The Department of Defense (DOD) annually spends about $15 billion for depot maintenance, modifications and upgrades to support aircraft, combat vehicles, wheeled vehicles, ships, and other equipment.
