Report on the Design and Development of an Effective Wide-Range Airborne Radar Jamming Equipment
Abstract
The object of this development was to prepare an experimental model of an equipment suitable for use in the Naval aircraft service for jamming enemy radar signals within the frequency range 375-600 megacycles. The equipment was to consist of a receiver unit for monitoring and a transmitter unit or units, modulated if necessary, for jamming transmission. Power sufficient to jam enemy radar signals at a distance of ten miles was specified.
