A Study of Rubber Preservatives

Abstract

Four materials for the protection of rubber equipment have been examined. The materials were applied to rubber and rubberized fabric and the coated materials subjected to accelerated weathering, salt spray, and roof exposure. The results show that two of the materials were helpful in protecting rubber from deterioration.
