Nimitz Leadership: The Future of Today's Navy

Abstract

Admiral Nimitz is widely recognized by military historians as one of the key leaders during the American campaigns of World War II; however, his leadership is more than just something to be acknowledged, it can serve as a model for today's young leaders. Furthermore, Admiral Nimitz's leadership qualities can be learned through serving a tour onboard a modern U.S. Navy submarine.
