Abstract

Department of Defense (DoD) logisticians can utilize commercial best business practices along with the Joint Logistics imperatives to streamline processes and break parochialisms to best support and prepare for tomorrow's battles. The imperatives of unity of effort, Joint Logistics Enterprise (JLEnt)/domain wide visibility, and rapid and precise response remain the cornerstone for a unified DoD with true Joint Logistics services vice just paying lip service to the term Joint Logistics.
