Defeating Comparable Competitors While Hiding in Plain Sight: An Alternate Plan for an Alternate Future

Abstract

In an alternate future where comparable competitors use more overt conventional means to achieve their objectives, the Joint Force must employ an alternate strategy based upon an active and dynamic defense that will create the conditions necessary to conduct offensive actions against an adversary system. With maneuver warfare and deception as key components of this alternate operating concept, the Joint Force will plant the seeds of a competitors destruction with maneuver elements inspired by the Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations (EABO) concept and distributed operations.
