Abstract

Surge capabilities, enduring requirements, and technical expertise all drive resourcing within the DoD within a financially constrained environment, but a vital component to appropriate resourcing is absent: an overarching assessment of the employed force structure mix through a feedback mechanism that informs future planners and decision makers.
